BLUR reality: A unique thread that winds its way through our lives, through our senses, in small and large everyday and world events. From the Return ofthe 30’s and the Need for aPoetic World to the paradoxes ofFlesh and Blood Superheroes to the elite novellaofSmall World, our editors seek to decode the fasci¬nating trip, the mystifying story that unfolds daily before our eyes. Through asequence oftopics seen from different perspectives there is ayearning to capture asecret, that ofphenomenon, time, alife at break neck speed that blurs all around it. The world is as they say aglobal village where international cities become the neighbourhoods ofour existence. But it’s not that way for everyone. As Tiziano Terza¬ni tells us; "at times, in the same city there are centuries ofcultural difference and we live in atemporary space between eras." Blur-reality is the term coined by TJF Magazine where through transversal subjects we have sought to present akey to draw the reader out ofhis or her customary mindset. Blurred, hazy: as the lens ofaphotographer, as an ambiguous image in the process oftransformation, the formation ofan idea, aconcept, aphilosophy. Blur... aplay on words, atongue twister, an obsessive research that looks to an unsure yet intriguing future with an eye on the avant-garde past ofthe 900’s, realist poetry, and dadawhile moving towards undefined, virtual, ephemeral, and impalpable boundaries.
